धनमाचार्याय तदनुप्रयच्छेत्।

| इस प्रकार ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन करने वाले ब्रह्मचारी को चाहिए कि वह जो भी धन (जीवन-निर्वाह के लिए आवश्यक वस्तुएँ) भिक्षा में प्राप्त करे, उसे आचार्य को अर्पित कर दे। ऐसा करने से शिष्य सत्पुरुषों के अनेक गुणों से युक्त आचरण को प्राप्त करता है। उसे अपने गुरुपुत्र के प्रति भी यही भावना रखनी चाहिए। 18॥ |

| In this way, a celibate who has practiced celibacy should offer whatever wealth (objects necessary for subsistence) he receives in alms to the Acharya.
