राजन! जिस (तप) के विषय में आप मुझसे पूछ रहे हैं, वह तप सम्पूर्ण जगत् की उत्पत्ति का कारण है; इस (निष्काम) तप के द्वारा ही विद्वान् पुरुष मोक्षरूपी परम अमृत को प्राप्त होते हैं॥13॥
Rajan! The (penance) about which you are asking me, this penance is the origin of the entire world; It is only through this (selfless) penance that the learned scholars attain the supreme nectar of salvation. 13॥
