ब्राह्मणानामिमे लोका ऋद्धे तपसि तिष्ठताम्॥ १०॥ | | | | | | अनुवाद | | इस लोक में (इच्छा सहित) किए गए तप का फल परलोक में भोगा जाता है; परंतु जो ब्रह्म के उपासक इस लोक में निष्काम भाव से अधिक तप करते हैं, उन्हें इसी लोक में तत्त्वज्ञान का फल प्राप्त होता है (और मुक्ति मिलती है)। इस प्रकार एक ही तप दो प्रकार का होता है - ऋद्ध और समृद्ध। | | | | The fruits of the penance performed in this world (with a desire) are enjoyed in the next world; but those worshippers of Brahman who perform greater penance in this world without any desire, receive the fruit of the knowledge of truth in this world itself (and get liberated).
