वाक्संयमो हि नृपते सुदुष्करतमो मत:।
अर्थवच्च विचित्रं च न शक्यं बहु भाषितुम्॥ ७६॥
अनुवाद
राजा! वाणी पर पूर्ण संयम रखना अत्यन्त कठिन माना गया है; तथापि विशेष अर्थ वाली तथा अद्भुत बातों से युक्त वाणी भी अधिक नहीं बोली जा सकती (अतः अत्यन्त कठिन होने पर भी वाणी पर संयम रखना उचित है)।
King! Complete control over speech is considered very difficult; however, even speech having special meaning and full of wonders cannot be spoken much (therefore, despite it being extremely difficult, it is advisable to control speech).
