ऐश्वर्यमदपापिष्ठा मदा: पानमदादय:।
ऐश्वर्यमदमत्तो हि नापतित्वा विबुध्यते॥ ५३॥ |

| यद्यपि मद्यपान आदि का नशा भी नशा है, परन्तु ऐश्वर्य का नशा बहुत बुरा है; क्योंकि ऐश्वर्य के नशे में चूर मनुष्य भ्रष्ट हुए बिना होश में नहीं आता ॥53॥ |
