बभूवुरतिसंरब्धा: कृतप्रहरणा नरा:॥ १८॥
तेषां विंशतिसाहस्रा हया: शूरैरधिष्ठिता:।

| उस समय पूर्व युद्ध कर चुके योद्धा जोश से भरे हुए थे। उनमें बीस हजार घोड़े थे जिनकी पीठ पर वीर योद्धा बैठे हुए थे। इन घुड़सवारों के साथ पाँच हजार हाथी सवार और बहुत से रथी भी थे॥18-19॥ |

| At that time, the warriors who had fought a war before were filled with passion. Among them were twenty thousand horses on whose backs were seated valiant warriors. Along with these horsemen, there were five thousand elephant riders and many charioteers too.॥ 18-19॥ |
