व्रतमेतन्मम सदा पृथिव्यामपि विश्रुतम्।
स्त्रियां स्त्रीपूर्वके चैव स्त्रीनाम्नि स्त्रीसरूपिणि॥ ६६॥
न मुञ्चेयमहं बाणमिति कौरवनन्दन।
अनुवाद
हे कौरवपुत्र! मेरी यह प्रतिज्ञा इस लोक में भी प्रसिद्ध है कि मैं किसी स्त्री पर, जो पहले स्त्री रहा हो और अब पुरुष हो गया हो, जिसका नाम स्त्री के समान हो तथा जिसका रूप और वेश स्त्रियों के समान हो, बाण नहीं चला सकता।
