स तद्गृहस्योपरि वर्तमान
आलोकयामास धनाधिगोप्ता।
स्थूणस्य यक्षस्य विवेश वेश्म
स्वलंकृतं माल्यगुणैर्विचित्रै:॥ ३४॥
लाज्यैश्च गन्धैश्च तथा वितानै-
रभ्यर्चितं धूपनधूपितं च।
ध्वजै: पताकाभिरलंकृतं च
भक्ष्यान्नपेयामिषदन्तहोमम्॥ ३५॥
अनुवाद
अपने घर के ऊपर आकाश में स्थित कोषाध्यक्ष कुबेर ने उसे ध्यानपूर्वक देखा। स्थूनाकर्ण यक्ष का वह घर विचित्र मालाओं से सुशोभित था। वह खशकी आदि की सुगंध से भी सुशोभित था और झाड़-फानूसों से सुसज्जित था। उसके चारों ओर धूप की सुगंध फैली हुई थी। असंख्य ध्वजाएँ और पताकाएँ उसकी शोभा बढ़ा रही थीं। दाँतों और जिह्वा की सहायता से जठराग्नि में आहुति देने वाले सभी खाद्य पदार्थ, पेय पदार्थ आदि वहाँ प्रस्तुत थे। तत्पश्चात् कुबेर ने उस घर में प्रवेश किया। 34-35।
Situated in the sky above his house, the treasurer Kubera observed it carefully. That house of Sthunakarna Yaksha was decorated with strange garlands. It was also adorned with the fragrance of Khashki and other things and was decorated with chandeliers. The fragrance of incense was spread all around it. Numerous flags and banners were adding to its beauty. All the things like edibles, food items, drinks etc., which are offered in the fire of the stomach with the help of teeth and tongue, were presented there. Thereafter Kubera entered that house. 34-35.
