हे राजन! वीर राजा हिरण्यवर्मा का सन्देश सुनो। हे पापी और मूर्ख राजा! मैं तुम्हारी पुत्री के द्वारा छला गया हूँ। तुमने वह पाप किया है, अतः उसका फल भोगो। हे राजन! युद्धभूमि में आओ और मुझे युद्ध करने का अवसर दो। मैं तुम्हारे मंत्रियों, पुत्रों और सम्बन्धियों सहित तुम्हारे समस्त कुल का नाश कर दूँगा।॥ 20-21 1/2॥
‘O King! Listen to the message given by the valiant King Hiranyavarman. O sinful and foolish king! I have been deceived by your daughter. You have committed that sin; therefore, bear the consequences of that. O King! Come to the battlefield and give me a chance to fight.
