राजन! पुण्यात्मा विचित्रवीर्य मुझसे छोटे होने पर भी मुझसे अभिषिक्त होकर अपने कर्तव्यानुसार मेरी ओर ही देखते थे, अर्थात् मेरी आज्ञा से ही समस्त राजकार्य करते थे।
King! Even though he was younger than me, the virtuous Vichitravirya, having been anointed by me, used to look towards me as per his duty, i.e., he used to do all the royal affairs with my consent only.
