‘उल्लू ! इसके बाद तुम शिखण्डी से भी यह कहना कि ‘धनुर्धर, महाबाहु भीष्म, गंगापुत्र और कुरुवंशी भीष्म तुम्हें स्त्री समझकर नहीं मारेंगे; इसलिए अब तुम निर्भय होकर युद्ध करो और युद्धस्थल में बड़े यत्न से अपना पराक्रम दिखाओ। हम तुम्हारा पुरुषार्थ देखेंगे।’॥ 78-79॥
‘Owl! After this you must tell this to Shikhandi also – ‘The great-armed Bhishma, son of Ganga and the son of the Kuru dynasty, the best among archers, will not kill you thinking you to be a woman; therefore you must now fight fearlessly and display your valour in the battlefield with great effort. We will see your manliness.’॥ 78-79॥
