एवमुक्तैर्वर्धितश्चापि देवै
राजाभवन्नहुषो घोरवीर्य:।
त्रैलोक्ये च प्राप्य राज्यं महर्षीन्
कृत्वा वाहान् याति लोकान् दुरात्मा॥ २५॥ |

| उसके ऐसा कहने पर देवताओं ने उसका तप और तेज बढ़ा दिया। फिर वह भयंकर पराक्रमी राजा नहुष स्वर्ग का राजा हुआ। इस प्रकार तीनों लोकों का राज्य प्राप्त करके वह दुष्टात्मा नहुष महर्षियों को वाहन बनाकर समस्त लोकों में विचरण करता है॥ 25॥ |

| On his saying this, the gods increased his penance and brilliance. Then the fierce and powerful king Nahush became the king of heaven. Having thus obtained the kingdom of the three worlds, that evil souled Nahush roams in all the worlds using the great sages as his vehicles.॥ 25॥ |
