सोऽसि कर्ण तथा जात: पाण्डो: पुत्रोऽसि धर्मत:।
निग्रहाद् धर्मशास्त्राणामेहि राजा भविष्यसि॥ ९॥ |

| कर्ण! तुम्हारा जन्म भी इसी प्रकार हुआ है; (तुम कुन्ती के बाल्यकाल में उत्पन्न पुत्र हो;) अतः धर्मानुसार तुम भी पाण्डु के पुत्र हो। अतः आओ, धर्मशास्त्र के निर्णयानुसार तुम राजा बनोगे॥ 9॥ |
