बेटा! जो बुद्धिमान राजा देवताओं सहित ब्राह्मणों का पूजन करके तथा अन्य शुभ कर्मों से प्रत्येक कार्य का आरम्भ करता है, वह शीघ्र ही उन्नति करता है। जैसे सूर्य पूर्व दिशा में आश्रय लेकर उसे प्रकाशित करता है, उसी प्रकार राजलक्ष्मी पूर्वोक्त राजा से सब ओर से मिलकर उसे यश और कीर्ति प्रदान करती हैं ॥30-31॥
Son! A wise king who begins every work by worshipping the Brahmins along with the Gods and by performing other auspicious deeds, progresses quickly. Just as the Sun takes shelter in the east and illuminates it, in the same way Rajlakshmi, meeting the aforesaid king from all sides, bestows him with fame and glory. ॥30-31॥
