‘जब तक वह महान धनुर्धर शत्रु, जो अस्त्रविद्या में निपुण है और जो तुम्हारे सामने आते ही लक्ष्य को मार गिराने में समर्थ है, जो शीघ्रतापूर्वक बाण चलाकर दूर से ही लक्ष्य पर प्रहार कर सकता है, वह चन्दन और अगुरु से लेप करने वाले तथा कंठहार और हार धारण करने वाले तुम्हारे योद्धाओं की छाती पर विशाल बाणों की वर्षा न कर दे, तब तक तुम्हें युद्ध करने का विचार त्याग देना चाहिए॥10-11॥
