वैशम्पायन कहते हैं - जनमेजय! जब भीष्म युद्धभूमि छोड़कर चले गये, तब महामनस्वी धृतराष्ट्रपुत्र दुर्योधन ने अपने रथ की ध्वजा फहराकर तथा हाथ में धनुष लेकर गर्जना करते हुए अर्जुन पर आक्रमण किया।
Vaishmpayana says: Janamejaya! When Bhishma left the battle front and moved away, then the great-minded Duryodhana, son of Dhritarashtra, hoisting the flag of his chariot and taking up bow in his hand, roared and attacked Arjun.
