त्रस्तानि सर्वसैन्यानि व्यपागच्छन् महाहवात्॥ १०॥
कुण्डलोष्णीषधारीणि जातरूपस्रजस्तथा।
पतितानि स्म दृश्यन्ते शिरांसि रणमूर्धनि॥ ११॥ |

| गाण्डीव की गर्जना वज्र की गर्जना से भी अधिक प्रबल थी। उसे सुनकर सभी सैनिक भयभीत होकर उस महायुद्ध से भाग खड़े हुए। रणक्षेत्र के मुहाने पर कुण्डल और पगड़ियाँ पहने असंख्य कटे हुए सिर पड़े दिखाई दे रहे थे। अनेक स्वर्ण-हार इधर-उधर बिखरे पड़े थे। |
