बिभ्रती विपुलौ बाहू शक्रध्वजसमुच्छ्रयौ।
पात्री च पङ्कजी घण्टी स्त्रीविशुद्धा च या भुवि॥ १०॥
पाशं धनुर्महाचक्रं विविधान्यायुधानि च।
कुण्डलाभ्यां सुपूर्णाभ्यां कर्णाभ्यां च विभूषिता॥ ११॥
चन्द्रविस्पर्द्धिना देवि मुखेन त्वं विराजसे।
मुकुटेन विचित्रेण केशबन्धेन शोभिना॥ १२॥
भुजङ्गाभोगवासेन श्रोणिसूत्रेण राजता।
विभ्राजसे चाबद्धेन भोगेनेवेह मन्दर:॥ १३॥ |

| 'आप इन्द्र के ध्वज के समान उठी हुई दो विशाल भुजाएँ (वर और अभय मुद्रा वाली) धारण करती हैं। आपके तीसरे हाथ में कलश, चौथे में कमल और पाँचवें में घंटा सुशोभित है। छठे हाथ में पाश, सातवें में धनुष और आठवें में महान चक्र है। ये आपके विविध आयुध हैं। इस पृथ्वी पर आप ही नारी का शुद्ध रूप हैं। कुण्डलों से विभूषित कुण्डल आपके मुख की शोभा बढ़ाते हैं। देवी! आप चन्द्रमा से मुकाबला करने वाले मुख से सुशोभित हैं। आपके मस्तक पर विचित्र मुकुट है। बँधे हुए बालों की वेणी सर्प की आकृति के समान एक अलग ही शोभा दे रही है। यहाँ आपकी कमर में बँधी हुई सुन्दर करधनी आपको ऐसा प्रतीत कराती है मानो मंदराचल पर्वत सर्प से लिपटा हुआ हो।' |
