इसी प्रकार हर्ष और पराक्रम से परिपूर्ण पाण्डवपुत्र अर्जुन भी भारी भार वहन करने में समर्थ तथा शत्रुओं का संहार करने में समर्थ उत्तम एवं दिव्य गाण्डीव धनुष धारण करके सुवर्ण से विभूषित अनेक विचित्र बाणों की वर्षा कर रहे थे। वीर पार्थ अपने धनुष से छोड़े गए बाणों के समूहों द्वारा आचार्य द्रोण के बाणों की वर्षा को तत्काल नष्ट कर रहे थे। यह अद्भुत घटना थी। 31-32।
