महाबली द्रोण और कुन्तीपुत्र अर्जुन दोनों ही महारथी, बलवान, अजेय, अस्त्र-शस्त्रों में निपुण और बुद्धिमान थे। युद्ध के अन्त में आचार्य और शिष्य दोनों अपने-अपने रथों पर बैठकर एक-दूसरे का आलिंगन करने लगे (मानो एक-दूसरे की ओर हाथ बढ़ाकर)। उन्हें इस अवस्था में देखकर भरतवंशियों की वह विशाल सेना भय से बार-बार काँपने लगी॥14-15॥
The mighty Drona and Kunti's son Arjun were both great warriors, full of strength, invincible, expert in weapons and wise. At the end of the war, both the Acharya and the disciple, sitting on their respective chariots, started embracing each other (as if by extending their hands towards each other). Seeing him in this condition, that huge army of Bharatvanshis started trembling with fear again and again. 14-15॥
