उसकी सेनाएँ बहुत बड़ी थीं और वे सब अच्छी तरह से सजी हुई थीं। उन सेनाओं में बहुत सी ध्वजाएँ और पताकाएँ फहरा रही थीं। उन सबको देखकर शत्रुओं का नाश करने वाले अर्जुन ने विराटपुत्र उत्तर से कहा -॥3॥
His armies were numerous and all of them were well arrayed. Many flags and banners were fluttering in those armies. Seeing them all, Arjuna, the destroyer of enemies, addressed Uttara, the son of Virata, and said -॥ 3॥
