अनुवाद
सूर्यपुत्र कर्ण ने बड़े वेग से पांडवपुत्र अर्जुन को बारह बाणों से घायल कर दिया। उसके घोड़ों के शरीर टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर दिए और विराटपुत्र उत्तर के हाथ पर भी भारी चोट पहुँचाई।
With great speed, Karna, the son of Surya, pierced Arjuna, the son of Pandava, with twelve arrows. He pierced the bodies of his horses into pieces and also inflicted a heavy injury on the hand of Uttar, the son of Virat.
