वैशम्पायन उवाच
एवमुक्त: स वैराटिर्हयान् संयम्य यत्नत:।
नियम्य च ततो रश्मीन् यत्र ते कुरुपुङ्गवा:।
अचोदयत् ततो वाहान् यत्र दुर्योधनो गत:॥ १५॥
अनुवाद
वैशम्पायन कहते हैं - अर्जुन की आज्ञा पाकर विराटकुमार उत्तर ने बड़े प्रयत्न से अपने घोड़ों की लगाम खींचकर उन्हें उस ओर जाने से रोक दिया जहाँ महाकौरव योद्धा खड़े थे। फिर उन्हें वश में करके उसने घोड़ों को उस दिशा में हाँक दिया जहाँ राजा दुर्योधन गया था॥ 15॥
Vaishampayana says - On Arjun's order, Viratkumar Uttara pulled the reins of his horses with great effort and stopped them from going towards the place where the great Kaurava warriors were standing. Then, keeping them under control, he drove the horses in the direction where King Duryodhan had gone.॥ 15॥
