ब्राह्मण को चाहिए कि वह वेदों को पढ़कर यज्ञ कराए। क्षत्रिय को चाहिए कि वह धनुष चलाकर धन कमाए और यज्ञ कराए, परन्तु दूसरों के लिए यज्ञ न कराए (क्योंकि यह ब्राह्मणों का काम है)।॥5॥
A Brahmin should read the Vedas and then get the sacrifice performed. A Kshatriya should use the bow to earn money and perform the sacrifice, but he should not get the sacrifice performed for others (because this is the work of Brahmins).॥ 5॥
