दूसरों के दोष जानने या देखने में, लोगों की दिनचर्या बताने में, हाथी, घोड़े और रथ के जुलूसों के लिए शुभ समय जानने में, गधे, ऊँट, बकरी और भेड़ के गुण-दोषों का मूल्यांकन करने में तथा उनके उपचार आदि में, गौओं को एकत्रित करने और उनकी परीक्षा करने में, गलियों और घर के उत्तम द्वारों पर किए जाने वाले शुभ कर्मों में, इष्टदेव की सहायता से नए अन्न को पवित्र करने में तथा अन्न में बाल, कीड़े आदि गिरने से होने वाले दोषों का विचार करने में भी पंडितों की सलाह लेनी चाहिए। वे ऐसे कार्यों में ही अच्छे होते हैं।॥ 31-32॥
‘In knowing or seeing the faults of others, in telling the daily routine of people, in finding out the auspicious time for elephant, horse and chariot processions, in evaluating the qualities and defects of donkeys, camels, goats and sheep and in their treatment, etc., in collecting and testing the cattle, in the auspicious rituals performed at the streets and the best doors of the house, in consecrating new grains with the help of Ishti and in considering the defects that occur due to hair, insects etc. falling in the grains, the advice of the Pandits should also be taken. They are good in such works only.॥ 31-32॥
