त्रिदण्डतूणसम्बाधमनेकध्वजसंकुलम्॥ ७॥
ज्याक्षेपणं क्रोधकृतं नेमीनिनददुन्दुभि।
नगरं ते मया गुप्तं रथोपस्थं भविष्यति॥ ८॥ | | | | | | अनुवाद | | मेरे द्वारा सुरक्षित यह रथ का ऊपरी भाग तुम्हारे लिए नगर बनेगा। इस रथ के धुरों, पहियों आदि की दृढ़ कल्पना ही नगर की सड़कों के दोनों ओर बने हुए मकानों का विस्तार है। मेरी दो भुजाएँ ही नगर की सीमा-दीवारें और नगर के द्वार हैं। इस रथ में स्थित त्रिदंड (हरिस और दोनों ओर की लकड़ियाँ) और तरकश आदि किसी को भी यहाँ प्रवेश नहीं करने देंगे। जिस प्रकार तीन प्रकार की सेनाओं और शस्त्रों - हाथी सवार, घुड़सवार और सारथी - के कारण अन्य लोगों का नगर में प्रवेश करना असम्भव है। जिस प्रकार नगर में अनेक ध्वजाएँ और पताकाएँ फहराती हैं, उसी प्रकार इस रथ में भी फहरा रही हैं। धनुष की डोरी नगर में लगी हुई तोप की नली है, जिसका प्रयोग क्रोध में किया जाता है और रथ के पहियों की गड़गड़ाहट को नगर में बजने वाले नगाड़ों की ध्वनि समझो। | | | | Protected by me, this upper part of the chariot will become the city for you.
