दृष्ट्वैव हि परानाजौ मन: प्रव्यथतीव मे॥ १२॥
अनुवाद
यह कौरव सेना रथों, हाथियों और घोड़ों से भरी हुई है। इसमें पैदल सैनिक और असंख्य ध्वजाएँ भी हैं। इसीलिए युद्धभूमि में इन शत्रुओं को देखकर ही मेरा हृदय व्याकुल हो रहा है॥ 12॥
This Kaurava army is jam-packed with chariots, elephants and horses. It is also filled with foot soldiers and innumerable flags. That is why my heart is agitated just by seeing these enemies on the battlefield.॥ 12॥
