बृहन्नलोवाच
बृहन्नलापि कल्याणि दु:खमाप्नोत्यनुत्तमम्।
तिर्यग्योनिगता बाले न चैनामवबुध्यसे॥ २३॥
अनुवाद
बृहन्नला बोली - कल्याणी ! बृहन्नला भी पशु के समान नीच या नपुंसक योनि में जन्म लेकर महान दुःख भोग रही है । तुम अभी अबोध हो, इसीलिए बृहन्नला को समझ नहीं पा रही हो ॥ 23॥
Brihannala said - Kalyani! Brihannala too is suffering a lot after being born in a low or impotent form like that of an animal. You are still innocent and that is why you are unable to understand Brihannala.॥ 23॥
