परस्त्रियमुपातिष्ठे सत्यधर्मपथस्थिता।

तत्पश्चात् बारहवें वर्ष के अन्त में मैं जंगली फल-मूल खाता हुआ विराटनगर में आया और सुदेष्णा का दास बन गया। आज मैं सत्य धर्म के मार्ग पर स्थित होकर दूसरी स्त्री की सेवा करता हूँ।
Thereafter, at the end of the twelfth year, I came to Viratnagar, eating wild fruits and roots, and became the servant of Sudeshna. Today, being established in the path of true religion, I serve another woman.
