क्षमा ही सत्य है, क्षमा ही दान है, क्षमा ही धर्म है और क्षमा ही तप है। यह लोक और परलोक क्षमाशील लोगों के लिए ही हैं। यदि दो भाग (उत्तरायण और दक्षिणायन), बारह भाग (महीने), चौबीस (पखवाड़े) और तीन सौ साठ (दिन) वाले कालचक्र के पूरा होने में एक मास भी शेष रह जाए, तो प्रतीक्षा करने के बजाय क्षमा का त्याग कौन कर सकता है?
‘Forgiveness is truth, forgiveness is charity, forgiveness is religion and forgiveness is penance. This world and the next world are only for forgiving people. If even one month is left for the completion of the time cycle which has two parts (Uttarayan and Dakshinayan), twelve parts (months), twenty four (fortnights) and three hundred and sixty (days) then who can give up forgiveness instead of waiting for it?’
