चन्द्रमुखी! मेरे मन को उन्मत्त करने वाले कामदेव के बाणों का समूह तुम्हारे मिलन की आशा से अत्यंत तीक्ष्ण एवं प्रचण्ड हो गया है। काले नेत्रों वाली सुन्दरी! वे अत्यन्त क्रोध से छोड़े हुए कामदेव के भयंकर एवं भयंकर बाण, बिना दया के बड़े वेग से आकर मेरे हृदय को छेदकर भीतर घुस गए हैं और अत्यन्त उन्मत्तता (बेहोशी) उत्पन्न कर रहे हैं। वे मेरे प्रेम से उन्मत्त हो रहे हैं। अब यहाँ केवल तुम ही आत्मयज्ञ से उत्पन्न मैथुन रूपी औषधि द्वारा मेरी रक्षा कर सकती हो।। 26-27।।
