इदं तवेष्टं यदि वै सुरोपम
ब्रवीहि यत् ते प्रसमीक्षितं वसु।
न तेऽनुरूपं हयकर्म विद्यते
प्रभासि राजेव हि सम्मतो मम॥ १०॥
युधिष्ठिरस्येव हि दर्शनेन मे
समं तवेदं प्रियमत्र दर्शनम्।
कथं तु भृत्यै: स विनाकृतो वने
वसत्यनिन्द्यो रमते च पाण्डव:॥ ११॥
अनुवाद
हे देवताओं के समान मनुष्य! यदि यह कार्य तुम्हें प्रिय है, तो बताओ, इसके लिए तुमने कितना वेतन लेने का विचार किया है? घोड़ों को प्रशिक्षित करने का यह कार्य तुम्हारे लिए उपयुक्त नहीं है। तुम राजा के समान दिख रहे हो और मुझे भी तुम बहुत प्रिय हो। आज यहाँ तुम्हारा दर्शन मुझे राजा युधिष्ठिर के दर्शन के समान अत्यंत प्रिय है। हे! समस्त प्रशंसा के योग्य पाण्डवपुत्र राजा युधिष्ठिर बिना सेवकों के वन में कैसे रहेंगे और वहाँ उनका मन कैसे शांत होगा?॥10-11॥
O man who is like gods! If this work is dear to you, then tell me, how much money have you thought of taking as salary for it? This work of training horses is not suitable for you. You are looking like a king and I also like you very much. The sight of you here today is very dear to me like the sight of King Yudhishthira. Oh! How would King Yudhishthira, the son of Pandava, who is worthy of all praise, live in the forest without servants and how would his mind be at ease there?॥10-11॥
