तमायान्तमभिप्रेक्ष्य भ्राजमानं नरर्षभम्।
समुपस्थाय वै राजा पप्रच्छ कुरुनन्दनम्॥ ३॥
अनुवाद
दिव्य तेज से विभूषित पुरुषों में श्रेष्ठ सहदेव को (अपने सेवकों के साथ बुलाए जाने पर) राजसभा की ओर आते देख राजा विराट स्वयं उठकर उनके पास गए और कुरुकुल को आनन्द देने वाले सहदेव से पूछा-॥3॥
Seeing Sahadev, the best of men adorned with divine radiance, coming towards the royal court [with his servants when he was called], King Virat himself got up and went towards him and asked Sahadev, the one who gives joy to the Kurukula - ॥ 3॥
