इनके अतिरिक्त दूसरी प्रकार की गायों के एक लाख और तीसरी प्रकार की गायों के दुगुने अर्थात् दो लाख झुंड थे। (प्रत्येक झुंड में सौ गायें थीं।) मैं पांडवों की उन गायों का गणक और निरीक्षक था। वे मुझे 'तन्तिपाल' कहते थे। मैं सभी दिशाओं में दस योजन की दूरी तक की सभी गायों को जानता हूँ; भूत, वर्तमान और भविष्य में उनकी संख्या जो भी थी, है और होगी। तीनों कालों में गायों के संबंध में ऐसी कोई बात नहीं हुई है, जो मुझे ज्ञात न हो।
Apart from these, there were one lakh herds of the second type of cows and twice as many herds of the third type of cows, i.e. two lakh herds. (Each herd had hundred cows.) I was the count and inspector of those cows of the Pandavas. They used to call me 'Tantipal'. I know all the cows within a distance of ten yojanas in all directions; their number in the past, present and future, whatever it was, is and will be. There is nothing that has happened in the three periods regarding cows, which I am not aware of.
