मानसिंह! उस गया के विषय में प्राचीन लोग कहते थे कि 'बहुत से पुत्रों की कामना करनी चाहिए; हो सकता है कि उनमें से कोई एक भी गया जाकर अश्वमेध यज्ञ करे अथवा नीलवृक्ष का यज्ञ करे। ऐसा पुरुष अपनी सन्तान के द्वारा दस पूर्व और दस परवर्ती पीढ़ियों का उद्धार कर देता है।'॥9-10॥
‘Mansingh! Regarding that Gaya, the ancients used to say that ‘One should wish for many sons; it is possible that even one of them may go to Gaya or perform the Ashwamedha Yajna or sacrifice a Neelvrish*. Such a man liberates ten previous and ten subsequent generations through his progeny.’॥ 9-10॥
