यथा च वेदान् सावित्री याज्ञसेनी तथा पतीन्।
न जहौ धर्मत: पार्थान् मेरुमर्कप्रभा यथा॥ ५॥
अनुवाद
जैसे गायत्री चारों वेदों को नहीं छोड़ती और सूर्य का तेज मेरु पर्वत को नहीं छोड़ता, वैसे ही यज्ञपुत्री द्रौपदी ने भी अपने कर्तव्य के अनुसार अपने पति कुन्तीपुत्रों को नहीं छोड़ा॥5॥
Just as Gayatri does not abandon the four Vedas and the radiance of the Sun does not abandon Mount Meru, in the same way Draupadi, the daughter of Yajna, did not abandon her husband, the sons of Kunti, as per her duty. ॥ 5॥
