दमयन्ती के पिता, महापराक्रमी भीम, अपार आत्मबल से संपन्न थे और शत्रु योद्धाओं का संहार करने में समर्थ थे। उन्होंने अपनी पुत्री दमयन्ती को बड़े आदर के साथ विदा किया।
Damayanti's father, the fiercely valiant Bhima, was blessed with immeasurable self-power and was capable of killing the warriors of the enemy. He bid farewell to his daughter Damayanti with great respect. 2॥
