अनुवाद
हे भरतवंशी! अपने पिता और माता की आज्ञा लेकर दमयन्ती ने नल को राजभवन में बुलाया, जहाँ वह स्वयं रहती थी। दमयन्ती को अचानक अपने सम्मुख उपस्थित देखकर राजा नल शोक और शोक से भर गए और उनके नेत्रों से आँसू बहने लगे।
