वह गम्भीर ध्वनि महाराज नल के रथ की ध्वनि के समान थी; परन्तु मैं इन आगन्तुकों में निषादराज नल को नहीं देख रहा हूँ। यह अवश्य सम्भव है कि वार्ष्णेय ने भी नल के समान घुड़सवारी सीखी हो। इसीलिए आज रथ की ध्वनि बहुत ऊँची सुनाई दे रही थी, जैसी नल के रथ हाँकने पर होती थी। क्या यह सम्भव है कि राजा ऋतुपर्ण भी राजा नल के समान घुड़सवारी में निपुण हों; क्योंकि उनके रथ की गम्भीर ध्वनि भी नल के समान ही दिखाई दे रही है॥ 34-35॥
‘That deep sound was like that of Maharaja Nala's chariot; but I do not see Nishadraj Nala among these visitors. It is certainly possible that Varshneya has also learnt horsemanship like Nala. That is why today the sound of the chariot was heard very loudly, like it used to be when Nala drives the chariot. Could it be that King Rituparna is also as proficient in horsemanship as King Nala is; because the deep sound of his chariot is also visible like that of Nala'॥ 34-35॥
