| वह स्त्री अपने पति पर इतनी समर्पित थी कि संकट के समय भी उस पुरुष के पीछे-पीछे वन में चली गई; परन्तु उस अल्पगुणी पुरुष ने उसे वन में ही छोड़ दिया। अब यदि वह जीवित है, तो अवश्य ही बड़ी कठिनाई से अपने दिन काट रही होगी। वह स्त्री अकेली थी। उसे मार्ग का ज्ञान नहीं था। वह जिस संकट में पड़ी थी, उसके योग्य वह थी ही नहीं॥16-17॥ |
