तत्पश्चात् वह सुन्दरी कन्या शरद् ऋतु के चन्द्रमा की कला के समान मृत्यु से बचे हुए वेदवेत्ता ब्राह्मणों के साथ भ्रमण करती हुई कुछ ही समय में संध्या के समय सत्यदर्शी चेदिराज सूबा की राजधानी में पहुँच गई ॥44-45॥
