दमयन्ती की बात सुनकर बृहत्सेन ने अपने विश्वस्त जनों द्वारा वार्ष्णेय को बुलाया। तब अजेय स्वभाव वाली तथा देश-काल को जानने वाली भीमकुमारी दमयन्ती ने मधुर वाणी में वार्ष्णेय को सान्त्वना देते हुए यह समयोचित बात कही -॥11-12॥
Brihatsena, hearing Damayanti's words, called Varshneya through his trusted men. Then Bhimkumari Damayanti, who has an invincible nature and knows the time and place, consoled Varshneya in a sweet voice and said this timely thing -॥ 11-12॥
