जल के देवता वरुण ने नल को उनकी इच्छानुसार जल प्रकट होने का वरदान दिया और यह भी कहा कि ‘तुम्हारी पुष्पमालाएं सदैव सुखद सुगंध से भरी रहेंगी।’ इस प्रकार सभी देवताओं ने नल को दो-दो वरदान दिए।
Varuna, the lord of water, granted Nala the boon of water appearing as per his wish and also said that 'your garlands of flowers will always be filled with pleasant fragrance.' In this way all the gods granted two boons each.
