निकृत्या निकृतिप्रज्ञा हन्तव्या इति निश्चय:।
न हि नैकृतिकं हत्वा निकृत्या पापमुच्यते॥ २२॥
अनुवाद
जो शत्रु धूर्त हैं अथवा धूर्तता करना जानते हैं, उन्हें धूर्तता से ही मारना चाहिए, यह सिद्धान्त है। जो स्वयं दूसरों पर छल करता है, उसे छल से भी मारना पाप नहीं माना जाता।॥22॥
‘Enemies who are cunning or who know how to be cunning should be killed through cunning only, this is a principle. It is not considered a sin to kill a person who himself uses deceit on others, even by deceit.॥ 22॥
