| हे पाण्डुपुत्र! व्यर्थ की बातें किए बिना सत्य बोलना ही श्रेष्ठ है। अपने सहायक बन्धुओं और सम्बन्धियों के साथ बैठकर एक ही भोजन करना चाहिए। उनके सामने अपने अभिमान और पूजा की चर्चा नहीं करनी चाहिए। जो राजा इस प्रकार आचरण करता है, वह सदैव उन्नति करता है ॥ 21॥ |

| O son of Pandu! It is best to speak the truth without any useless talk. One should sit with his helpful brothers and relatives and eat the same food. One should not talk about his pride and worship in front of them. A king who behaves like this always prospers. ॥ 21॥ |
