पूरोर्वंशे हि ये पुत्रा नप्तारो वा त्विहागता:।
तपसा रमयन्त्यस्मान्न च तेषां व्यतिक्रम:॥ ४३॥
तद् प्रसीद न मामार्तां विसर्जयितुमर्हसि।
हृच्छयेन च संतप्तं भक्तां च भज मानद॥ ४४॥
अनुवाद
पुरुवंश के अनेक नाती-पोते तपस्या करके यहाँ आते हैं और हम सभी अप्सराओं के साथ रमण करते हैं। इसमें उनका कोई दोष नहीं है। हे मांद! मुझ पर प्रसन्न होइए। मैं काम-पीड़ा से पीड़ित हूँ, मेरा परित्याग न कीजिए। मैं आपकी भक्त हूँ और प्रेम की अग्नि में जल रही हूँ, अतः मुझे स्वीकार कीजिए।
Many grandchildren of Puru dynasty come here after performing penance and they enjoy with all of us Apsaras. There is no fault of theirs in this. O Maand! Be pleased with me. I am suffering from the pain of sex, do not abandon me. I am your devotee and am burning in the fire of love; hence accept me.
