यशो न नश्येज्ज्ञातिभेदश्च न स्याद्
धर्मो न स्यान्नैव चैवं कृते त्वाम्।
एतत् कार्यं तव सर्वप्रधानं
तेषां तुष्टि: शकुनेश्चावमान:॥ ८॥
अनुवाद
ऐसा करने से तुम्हारा यश नष्ट नहीं होगा, तुम्हारे भाइयों में फूट नहीं पड़ेगी और तुम्हें धर्म की प्राप्ति भी होगी। तुम्हारे लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण कार्य पाण्डवों को संतुष्ट करना और शकुनिक का तिरस्कार करना है॥ 8॥
By doing this your glory will not be destroyed, there will be no rift among your brothers and you will also attain Dharma. The most important task for you is to satisfy the Pandavas and disgrace Shakunika.॥ 8॥
