और वह किरात रूपी भगवान शंकर के चरणों में गिर पड़ा। उस समय तपस्या के कारण उसके सभी अंग क्षीण हो रहे थे और उसे बड़ा आश्चर्य हुआ। उसे इस अवस्था में देखकर समस्त पापों का नाश करने वाले भगवान भव उस पर अत्यंत प्रसन्न हुए और मेघ के समान गम्भीर वाणी में बोले।
