वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं - जनमेजय ! ऐसा कहकर पराक्रमी धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर ने मन, वाणी और शरीर को वश में करके विधिपूर्वक दीक्षा लेने वाले अर्जुन को उपर्युक्त प्रतिस्मृति-विद्या सिखाई । तत्पश्चात् बड़े भाई युधिष्ठिर ने अपने वीर भाई अर्जुन को वहाँ से चले जाने का आदेश दिया । 16-17॥
Vaishampayanji says – Janamejaya! Having said this, the powerful Dharmaraja Yudhishthira, keeping his mind, speech and body under control, systematically taught the above mentioned Pratismriti-Vidya to Arjuna who took initiation. Thereafter, elder brother Yudhishthir ordered his brave brother Arjun to depart from there. 16-17॥
