मृगाणामुपयोगश्च वीरुदौषधिसंक्षय:।
बिभर्षि च बहून् विप्रान् वेदवेदाङ्गपारगान्॥ ३७॥
अनुवाद
'यहाँ मांसाहारी पशुओं का वध पूर्ण हो चुका है और चूँकि तुम वेद-वेदांगों में पारंगत अनेक ब्राह्मणों का पालन-पोषण और यज्ञ करते हो, इसलिए यहाँ की लताएँ, झाड़ियाँ और औषधियाँ लुप्त हो गई हैं।'॥37॥
'The killing of the carnivorous animals here has been completed and because you support and perform sacrifices for many Brahmins who are well versed in the Vedas and Vedangas, the creepers, bushes and medicinal herbs here have vanished.'॥ 37॥
